RHE sells around 200 apartments in Berlin to family office

The Berlin-based real estate agency RHE Grundbesitz was able to successfully broker a residential complex with around 200 apartments in Berlin-Lichtenberg to one of its managed family offices before the turn of the year. The complex comprises three buildings that were built in 1985 and 2016 and have energy efficiency classes of C and A respectively.

The well-maintained property consists mainly of 1-room apartments and is now held long-term by a Berlin-based family office. The company plans to carefully increase the currently moderate average rents of €7.50/m² and €13/m² through targeted investments.

Since 2022, we have successfully brokered a total transaction volume of around 1 billion euros to various family offices.

In this sales process, both the negotiations and the due diligence review were carried out professionally and in a spirit of partnership. This meant that after agreement on the purchase price, the purchase contract could be notarized at short notice between Christmas and New Year”
